A Space in Between | 2023

“Oh, how uncertain everything is. And yet part of the order.”

— Clarice Lispector

The days between Christmas and January 1st always feel like a bridge to me. A space in between.

Over the years, I’ve used the time to connect more deeply with my physical home—to clean my objects, to let go of items that no longer align with me, and to rearrange existing pieces to create a new energy and resonance within each room. I find a gentle reshuffling within my home helps prepare me for the change of year.

Wishing you all beautiful journey into 2023.

Thought Provokers: Unlock Your Potential Through Sensory Design

In October, I gave a lecture at University College London’s School of Management, at Canary Wharf in London UK. I discuss how my own design methodology has emerged over the last decade, and how sensory design can be used to unlock potential within the workspace. You can watch the video now, which is published online.

Utilising Circadian Lighting in Hotel Design

Circadian lighting can help connect us to the rhythm of nature. Last month, I participated on a HOTEL DESIGNS roundtable, where I spoke to leading hotel designers, lighting and product designers to discuss the topic. Read about it here.

Help spread Be-kin’s light

We have some incredibly beautiful private residential and commercial projects on at the moment. At the heart of each project, is a client who truly appreciates how space can impact their wellbeing.

If you know anyone who could benefit from Be-kin, please help spread our light. Thank you so much.

Until next time,
Wren.
