Studio

Be-Kin is an interior design studio known for its holistic approach to design. We provide a full interior design service, tailored to each project.

Founded by Wren Loucks, the studio draws inspiration from her passion for art, creative expression and interest in spiritual healing. Wren believes that the spaces we occupy have a profound impact on how we feel, and loves creating environments that bring our clients joy, comfort and inspiration.

The talented Be-Kin team have a wealth of knowledge, experience and creative skills. We enjoy working together to create beautiful spaces for our clients.

The studio is based in Primrose Hill, London UK. We work all over the world - Be Local.  Be Global. Be-Kin.

We are honoured that our Maida Vale project was shortlisted for the SBID International Design Awards 2025.

Philosophy

We take our clients on a journey, where we explore their tastes, sensitivities to design elements like light and sound, and understand the practical requirements of the project. This allows us to tune into our client’s energy and using our holistic design principles, create a unique space that they can thrive in and love.

Sourcing

We work with artisans, furniture makers and suppliers from all over the world. We take great care in picking who we work with, to ensure their quality, craftsmanship and aftercare is exceptional.

Wellbeing

Design is experienced across the senses, and when we create environments, we tune into how our clients are affected by light, sound, texture, colour, smell and visual aesthetics so that we can created an environment that supports their wellbeing – this is what we call the Art of Holistic Design.

When we work with commercial clients, we incorporate accessible design research and best practice into our designs so that they support a diverse range of cognitive, physical and sensory abilities.

Sustainability

We take a multi-faceted approach to sustainability.

Long lasting: We pride ourselves in creating long-lasting designs and specifying quality furniture and materials so that they last for many years.

Reuse: Often, we work with our client’s existing furniture collections, reusing items or adapting them to suit their new home.

Environmental & Social Sustainability: We work closely with our suppliers, to understand how their pieces are made and where the materials are sourced and prioritise suppliers who take a circular approach to design and take care of their employees.
